Click, Clack Moo. Click, Clack, Moo. Clickety, clack, moon. Cows, Hens, and Ducks have it rough and are just in need of Electric Blankets. This picture book is yet again, one of my favorites. The pictures are done in water color and marker and just come off of the page. The type writer that the cows learn how to use seems to actually be typing with the authentic sound of the typewriter and the letters for Farmer Brown that are written in the authentic typewriter font. This story is told from the perspective of third person, but the reader can really get an insight on what is happening at the farm and how all of the characters are feeling.
I give this book five cows out of five cows, because of the pictures alone. The pictures of this book are beautifully done, and I remember as a child picking up the book first because of the front cover. I also wanted to read about the animals and what was happening at the farm, but the first thing that truly attracted me was the picture on the cover of the cows writing on the keyboard surrounded by Hen and Duck. I now love the story for the style of the writing as well and the simple fact that cows can't simply type but the story just seems so real. I can imagine cows and ducks trying to type a letter to their Farmer, just like this book. Even though of course that would be impossible for the animals, but the book just feels so real!
